1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PasteCat (hereinafter referred to as "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you are not permitted to use the App. These Terms apply to all versions and updates of the App.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with the Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your macOS device for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
2.1 Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain the source code of the App
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App
- Rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the App
- Remove or modify any proprietary rights notices, labels, or marks on the App
- Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without explicit written consent
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 Ownership
All intellectual property in the App, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets, are owned by or licensed to PasteCat developers. These Terms do not grant you any ownership of any intellectual property.
3.2 User Content
You retain all rights to any content stored, copied, or managed through the App. However, you grant us the right to use such content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the App's services.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
4.1 Local Data Storage
- All clipboard data is stored locally on your device
- We do not transmit, store, or access your clipboard content on external servers
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of important data

4.3 Data Security
While we are committed to protecting your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any sensitive information stored through the App.
5. Subscription and Payment
5.1 Free Trial
The App offers a 7-day free trial for premium features; the free trial is limited to one-time use per user; after the trial period expires, access to premium features will be restricted unless you purchase a subscription.
- Monthly Subscription: ¥1.00/month (after 7-day free trial)
- Annual Subscription: ¥10.00/year (after 7-day free trial)
5.2 Subscription Options and Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle; charges are deducted from your Apple ID account; to manage or cancel your subscription, please go to your Apple ID settings. Subscription refunds must be requested through the Apple App Store. We do not issue refunds directly. For refund policies, please refer to Apple's refund policy. If you cancel before the trial period ends, you will not be charged. Cancellation must be completed through your Apple ID settings before the trial ends.
6. Limited Warranty and Disclaimer
6.1 "As-Is" Basis
The App is provided "as-is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranties.
6.2 Warranty Disclaimer
We disclaim all warranties, including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
6.3 No Service Guarantees
We do not guarantee:
- The App will meet your requirements
- The App will not be interrupted, delayed, or have security issues
- Defects will be corrected
- The App is free from viruses or harmful components
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Maximum Liability
In no event shall PasteCat developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from these Terms (including data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption), regardless of the cause, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7.2 Cap on Direct Liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the App to:
- Store, copy, or manage illegal content
- Infringe upon any third-party intellectual property
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse others
- Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Interfere with or compromise the integrity or performance of the App
- Attempt unauthorized access to the App or related systems
9. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify the Terms at any time. Modifications will take effect when posted to our website or within the App. Your continued use of the App following notification of modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
10. App Modification or Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, update, or discontinue the App at any time
- Add, remove, or modify features
- Terminate your access if you violate the Terms
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of China, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11.2 Dispute Resolution
For any dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us. If informal resolution fails, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with Chinese law.
12. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate or link to third-party services, libraries, and resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and conditions.
13. System Requirements and Compatibility
- Minimum macOS version: macOS 14.0 or later
- We do not guarantee compatibility with all macOS versions or configurations
- You are responsible for maintaining compatible system requirements
14. Accessibility
We are committed to making the App accessible. However, we do not guarantee that all features are accessible to users with disabilities. If you have questions about specific accessibility needs or issues, please contact us.
15. Export Control
You agree not to export or re-export the App to any country subject to U.S. embargo or designated as a denied party under any export law or regulation.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PasteCat developers regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
